I created testuser with no password then turned on sharp rokutv and opened blue neon night, it showed the new user but when logging it it gives a password error. I have tried with and without passwords with the same result. If so, delete the blue neon app, and start over... get it again afterwards, this time tell it skip (connect to server manually). It should auto detect your server, if it doesnt choose add server. Enter the IP and port of the emby server. Now after this it should display a row of users for you to choose from. Pick one and it will authenticate locally. Especially with it telling you about a missing appname. This shouldnt be required if I send client, device, deviceid, version, and userid. It should see this as a native emby app, which it is. When I click on the play icon on my iPad and say resume. The roku displays the continuous menu instead of playing the episode.

I made it so the createPlayerForItem can understand if the commands were delivered from another client to play. If so, the function will skip its normal dialog routine and send things directly to the createVideoPlayer. Fancied up the continuous dialog a bit. Made it easier to understand the options. Now its squashed. There should be no other ways to break this. The details on the continuous play dialog are there so its easier to understand the buttons. In order plays from the selected to the end. Shuffle will shuffle all. This is now clearly shown. You can "shuffle entire selected series" from the latest row or any other row, if it is a television episode selected. You don't have to play shuffled series only within the tv series screen. I don't know if it's a bug in Blue Neon or the new server version 3.0.6000.0 When I go to MORE in the episode level in Blue Neon it tosses me out of the app and to the Roku main screen. Windows 10 / Roku 4 / Blue Neon 3.67 / server version 3.0.6000.0 Also in the new server version I didn't adjust and preferences. Edited July 24, 2016 by mikeraburn

Unless someone pushed a fix through in-between me posting this and the above,,,,,,that was the "bug". Loose nut behind the wheel..

I'm guessing that assignment operator doesn't exist in older Roku firmware either. I'll have to look into when that was introduced. Edit: Looks like 7.1 introduced += as well as others, meaning the Now TV firmware rev is likely based off of a rev before that. Out of curiosity and since I know so little about the Now TV boxes, what firmware revision does yours show ,joshroblee? I would like to try to figure out what the equivalent Roku firmware rev level would be (or if they're even comparable). If I find some time this week, I may whip up a channel that checks for certain firmware features, as it would be nice to know more about the Now TV firmware (and what they may have cut out or how far behind Roku's official firmware their code base is). While there were some really nifty things introduced in later Roku firmware revs, at least there's hope for most of the Scene Graph API working on the Now TV boxes (very important when it comes to sprucing up the current interface, to say the least). I'll try to narrow down a list of things to check for, then cram them into a small test channel. Sadly, this week is awful (I've been in "replacing appliances hell" for the past two weeks), but I'll see if I can make some time for it.
