is there a way to record the same channel once a week at the same time?  or perhaps is there a way to mark a show as a series? As an example I would like to record a tv show that is on every Monday at 10:00pm.  it does not however show as a series, so I have to go in every week and schedule it to record.

Serverwmc   Which as an fyi works like a charm for everything else I need.

Currently emby doesn't do manual recordings, but you can do what you want by specifying a PrimeTimeRecording in serverwmc's settings file.  It lets you specify channels and recording times/days for automatic recordings.  The idea was to provide a way to automatically record all the shows during a specific's channel's prime time, rather than recording the individual shows.

 

Serverwmc's settings file shows dummy examples to show how to set it up.  If you have questions let me know.
