Can emby transcode TV recordings and store?

I have a complicated setup but It does appear to work.  Basically I have an HDHOMERUN prime and windows7 pro with media center and serverWMC running as the PVR backend (only has a Core 2 Duo so not reliable transcoding).  I then use emby running in a windows 7 VM on my mac to do the real time transcoding and serving up of content.  This is necessary because A). I have fire tv stick front ends and they don't handle mpeg-2 HD very well.  and .  I have rokus (2/3 and a stick) and they ONLY do h.264.

 

So with that said it would be nice to have emby transcode the dvr recordings on the windows7 pro machine running wmc so I don't have to schedule mcebuddy, transcode on the fly, and waste all that disk space.
