pmichener1954 1 Posted July 24, 2015 Posted July 24, 2015 Probably something simple that I am overlooking.I just built my current htpc after moving and not having access to my old one. installed windows 8.1 pro with media center and all seemed to work. Installed emby wmc classic on this htpc and it find the server, displays all screens fine. When I try to play a movie, I can hear the audio portion of the movie, but the playback screen never appears. When I turn off "use custom interface" in emby settings, the movie will play correctly. I would like to use the custom interface, ,and can't figure out what I am doing wrong. Please help.

pmichener1954 1 Posted July 25, 2015 Author Posted July 25, 2015 I see the movie backdrop with all the information displayed ( the screen that you click play on to proceed) it never leaves that screen, just plays audio in background.
ebr 16169 Posted July 25, 2015 Posted July 25, 2015 Does a "Now Playing" menu option appear anywhere? You know, the button that would be there if you were playing something and backed up to that screen.
