Luke 42077 Posted October 3, 2016 Posted October 3, 2016 the mono 4.6 release mentions an encoding related change. i have not had a chance to retest this issue with that though.
adam.niescierowicz 6 Posted March 2, 2017 Posted March 2, 2017 Hi, On my system (Debian Stretch) with mono 4.6.1. The external subtitles encoded with cp1250 are still wrong displayed. Unfortunately, version 4.6.x does not solve the problem
Luke 42077 Posted March 3, 2017 Posted March 3, 2017 Hi there @@adam.niescierowicz, can you please discuss a specific example? Best thing to do is please provide the information requested in how to report a media playback issue. Thanks !
zabas.net 1 Posted March 3, 2017 Posted March 3, 2017 The solution for the subtitles is installing the OS in the same language.

We'd like to work with you to resolve it. Can you please discuss a specific example? Please provide the information requested in how to report a media playback issue. thanks !
anderbytes 141 Posted June 27, 2017 Posted June 27, 2017 Vitality, There was a time when I followed that issue as hell, now it's working Ok for me. Consider posting the Subtitle file here to be analyzed, and have you checked which file encoding are they? Sent from my ASUS_Z017DA using Tapatalk

vitality34 0 Posted June 29, 2017 Posted June 29, 2017 It seems that if I automatically download the subtitles instead of adding them myself it works fine. Thanks for the help.

Luke 42077 Posted February 22, 2019 Posted February 22, 2019 Addic7ed is now in the Emby plugin catalog. You'll need to configure your Addic7ed credentials in the plugin configuration. Enjoy.
