hansolo77 11 Posted July 22, 2015 Posted July 22, 2015 I've been upgrading my server to WHS 2011 over the last few days. I've been a user of MB3 for years. I'm about to embark on the Emby installation in the next couple of days. One of the big reasons for my upgrade was so that I could install the Server portion of Emby onto my actual server. I couldn't do that before because of the database requirements to use x64. I've upgraded my CPU and RAM so now I can do this! What all is involved now with re-installing all of this? Obviously I need to install the server, but how do I go about accessing the server's dashboard for administrative work? And with that, how do I reconfigure my current installation to look for the new server location? Lastly, since the WHS is now going to have the server, how do I remove all the existing data from the previous installation? Would it be simpler to just completely uninstall everything on my Media Center computer and just restart? Also, I'm a supporter, was there a key or something I'll need to install to have access to those advanced features and previously purchased plugins? Thanks again for having the best media entertainment service around!
FrostByte 5392 Posted July 22, 2015 Posted July 22, 2015 This guide may help with the first question, though the folder structure has changed a bit Should be C:\Users\{user name}\AppData\Roaming\MediaBrowser-Server http://emby.media/community/index.php?/topic/10427-how-to-migrate-media-browser-server/
