CX23882 1 Posted July 20, 2015 Posted July 20, 2015 (edited) I have a Linux Mint 17.1 server, and have installed Emby Server using the "....deb http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/home:/emby/xUbuntu_14.04/ ....." method. I appear to have a recurring problem whereby the user set in /etc/default/emby-server keeps getting set back to EB_USER="emby" rather than the user that has access to the media. I have had Emby running fine for several weeks, but today, upgraded to 3.0.5675.1 and once again find that this has reset to the above. Not a huge deal, and Emby is so great that I can "put up" with this minor inconvenience, but... is there any way to fix this once and for all? edit: checked with sudo as debconf-show emby-server, which showed the user being set to emby. I've now done echo "set emby-server/user foo" | debconf-configuration and will see if that has resolved it. Edited July 21, 2015 by CX23882
