OK, still having issues with playback via Chromecast - pauses/plays every minute or so.

Playback is fine via Roku app on my Now TV.

I'll supply logs when I can, but I haven't found anything untoward in them so far.

.

I was having same issue. Thought it was the file I was playing last night.

I was wondering why there isn't any sorting or filtering in the app so I searched this thread and found the answer - swipe the panel from the right. There is absolutely no visual indication that such a panel exists. As much as I love this app and hate to be critical, it's really a poor user experience. Now that I know what to do, I'm good, but PLEASE consider redesigning this so other users aren't in the dark like I was. Most people probably won't come here looking for the answer.

Hello Forum, hello Devs.

Today I noticed, that when I resume a movie, the correct position is played but the wrong position is marked in the timebar below the movie. It simply starts at 0:00 even if I resume at 29:00.

Do you have hls enabled or disabled in the apps settings?

Hls is disabled as it doesn't work since some weeks.

On Android phone with on-screen nav icons (for example, HTC One M8), is there a way to play full screen in the Media Browser app?

Cm12 on lg g2 is handling hls so far. As stable as ever.

Hi I would like to know if I'm the only one with this problem.

When I play something from my phone with the android app and Chromecast. If I stop the video at any time higher than 10% watched (approximately) the apps set the video to "played" and it's removed from my resume list or home page and it has a check mark for watched. Thx

I think you can setup this on the server side.

Is this happening on a recently added movie?

I got the same issue on new added movies where the playtime of the movie was not calculated yet by the mbs.

I don't have this issue when playing from any other device (web client or xbmb3c)

Does the same thing happen if you use the web client to control the CC?

Redshirt,

Version 2.1.03

Something is amiss with RESUME items tab in latest version. It looks like it just grabbed 20 items and threw them in the tab. Even weirder is it is 20 items that I watched and deleted from my library. RESUME is showing properly in WebUI.

I haven't seen that. Is it happening every time? Does it happen if you clear data on the device?

Just published version 2.1.0.4 which fixes a last minute audio bug that was reported.

This version also adds several translations into the mix. The Android client now has localized text for:

  • Norwegian Bokmål
  • Spanish (Mexico)
  • Finnish
  • French
  • Swedish
  • Chinese Simplified
  • Russian
  • Kazakh
  • German
  • Portuguese (Brazil)

A big thank you to the community members who are taking the time to do what must be a boring task. And a big sorry because I'll be adding a bunch more text in the coming weeks :D

Thanks for the continued support. As for multiplatform media server software I think mb has it licked.

Happening every time. Just went into APPS and cleared data, logged back in and the same. 20 items in RESUME and all items that have been watched and deleted from the library. Strange, because the WebUI is showing the correct items in RESUME, which for me at the moment are two items.

I figured clearing the data would eliminate the possibility of it being a caching issue. With the data gone it seems that info is coming from the server, which may indicate something wrong with the request. Can you post the client log.

Not a problem.

ok. I think I know what might be happening. Two questions. Are the two items that are resumable included in the 20 items you get? Also, if you start to watch something else, via any client and then launch the Android client is that item included in that list. The list is sorted by sort name, so you'll need to try with media that's alphabetically closer to A than the last item in that 20.

Redshirt,

Responses to your two questions below.

1. No. The two items actually in my resume queue are NOT included.

2. Started a show that begins with A and got to a resume point. The item does not show up in the resume tab. It is still populate with the same 20 items.
