bartolomesoriano 26 Posted July 16, 2015 Posted July 16, 2015 Good evening, I am a recent user of Emby Server. I added all of my movie, tv show and music video folders. The library scanning completed OK, and I selected themoviedb as the top priority image scanner. All of my movies are in their own folders with all of the art in the movie folder, and have NFOs that were created with Media Companion. When I go into a movie and edit it, and want to change the Primary (poster) image, and press the button to get images online, the only image that Emby brings is a very low-res one from The Open Movie Database. However, if I press the button to Refresh the movie, and then go to get images online, I get all of the available images from themoviedb and from fanart.tv. Is this a bug or what am I doing incorrectly? If there is no way around this, and in light that I have over 3,000 movies, how can I refresh a whole folder in one go? Any help will be greatly appreciated. I am attaching my log file in case that it helps. Regards, Bart server-63572587617.txt
Happy2Play 9783 Posted July 16, 2015 Posted July 16, 2015 (edited) Are you sure your nfo's from media companion have the proper tmdb ids? Check a movie you haven't refreshed and verify emby has/sees a tmdb id. how can I refresh a whole folder in one go? Go to metadata manager and do a fresh at folder level (Movies). You are correct, the nfos have the IMDb ID, but not the tmdb id. I tried doing a refresh at folder level, but did not see that it actually did anything. Is there any sort of notification to know when the refresh has completed? Regards, Bart

Regards, Bart Unfortunately no all you can really do is check the logs. C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\Emby-Server\logs or MediaBrowser-Server depending on how old your install is. Luke 42081 Posted July 16, 2015 Posted July 16, 2015 for the next release i'll update the moviedb image provider to query using imdb id if tmdb id is missing. then you won't have to refresh. 1
