Help me understand volume mapping (unraid)

Well here is what I'm doing and what I have.

Doing: trying to move my emby server from my HTPC to my Unraid server using emby docker

Have: Unraid server (latest Rev of 6.0), 11 data drives (25TB), 1 cache drive and 1 parity drive. 2 user shares MOVIE and VIDEO. Under those two shares I have all my videos and tv in subfolders.

 

Only thing I am confused on with setting up the emby server is the volume mapping and what to put for the host path. For /config it states to set path to where you wish emby to store it's config. Does it matter where I put this?

 

For /mnt it states that this path is used to add library locations to emby. Seems to list disk shares. Since my library spans all 11 disks and the cache disk, at times, should I add all the volumes such as

/mnt /mnt/cache/

/mnt /mnt/disk1/

/mnt /mnt/disk2/

Etc........

 

I'm interpreting this last path as where emby gathers the media data from. Anyway, would like some thought before I mess with setting I'm not 100% confident of what they do. Thank you.

Word to the wise, do not try to configure a new server settings after a 10hr shift at 4am in the morning. Brain is not functioning at 100%. Anyway this is what I did and it seemed to install the Emby Docker correctly.

So far these are my steps:

1-     Made an Appdata folder on my cache drive and set to be shared (cache only)

2-     Made a 10GB Docker img file in Appdata folder

3-     Selected the emby template

4-     Add container as follows for my system

a.      /config                /mnt/cache/appdata/emby/       (emby is a subfolder I made in Appdata folder)

b.      /mnt                    /mnt/                                            (not sure what to do w/this so I just left it as is)

c.      /Movies              /mnt/user/Movies/                       (holds all my movies on my Unraid server)

d.      /Videos              /mnt/user/Videos/                        (holds all TV and Home Videos on my Unraid server)

5-     Create the container

6-     Run WebGUI, This is as far as I got today.

I have the same question, and am doing the same thing (moving Emby server from HTPC to Unraid server)

 

I also have the docker installed and can access the server now.

 

However I really don't understand what to put for /config, /mnt, etc.  What do I put on my SSD / cache drive?  what folders?  how about the docker.img?  how do you keep .mover from moving it ?
