New here, have questions

Hello, I'm new here and have a few questions about Emby. First off let me say that I've been a user of XMBC since the early days of Xbox modding, transitioned into OpenELEC a while back and for the past 2 1/2 years have been running a full Plex enviornemnt. I'm pretty happy with Plex, but an intrigued with Emby and was hoping someone could chime in and let me know what the pros and cons are versus Plex.

 

I currently share my server with 4 people; 2 of them are sharing their server with me, the other 2 are just streamers.

 

Devices: 4 Roku's (XD, a 2 and 2 3's), an Amazon Fire TV, multiple Android and iOS devices.

 

I would be happy to post my current server-side setup if needed, but it's kind of extensive...

I find the UI and administration superior to plex.  You can safely run both o n the same server if you want to try it out.
