diaz1510 154 Posted July 11, 2015 Posted July 11, 2015 ...it seem slike every time we get a new release, it comes with all kinds of issues. In all fairness, they always gfet resolved, but still... Now, I just got the update for the newest stable verison and whenever I open emby server, it just goes to a black screen, I can't got into the sever settings or the library. I thinnk ti has somethign to do with some wizardstart thing as now the link it sends me to in the web client is: http://localhost:8096/web/wizardstart.html I don't recall the old link being this...

Sometimes I get a drop box that asks me about what language I prefer but there is nothing in the drop down menu and I can't do anyhting at all... Wifew and I were just settling down to watch some movies...what a way to ruin my friday night... ...great...now I also have Norton deleting my Server again... Luke 42078 Posted July 11, 2015 Posted July 11, 2015 well who know what damage was done by norton. if it's bouncing you to the startup wizard then it must have deleted configuration files. you might want to install from the website on top of your existing installation, just to allow it to restore anything that might have been deleted by norton.

Luke 42078 Posted July 11, 2015 Posted July 11, 2015 if you want to start a teamviewer i can take a look. i think it is still probably norton related if i had to guess. otherwise try clearing your browsing data.

I just had to do a new install of my Windows 8.1 OS and I installed Emby, the latest version and I get the gray screen I can t configure Emby at all. I already tried on 2 different browsers and unsintalled and reinstalled emby but I get the same issue.

Luke 42078 Posted July 12, 2015 Posted July 12, 2015 In IE, if you right click anywhere -> inspect element then click console, do you see any errors? if you setup a teamviewer and PM me the info, i'll take a look and get you squared away.
