Always have to enter password

I didn't always have to enter my password, but now I always do when I switch users or log in.  The server and ET are running on the same machine.

 

I'm not sure if this is due to a recent change in Emby or Theater, or if it because I now have a second server running on the same LAN (I'm in the process of switching over my HTPCs).

 

All the users have the PIN access enabled, with the PIN blank.

 

If I try using the web interface, I am only prompted for the password when I access the server via the external IP, I am not prompted when using the LAN IP.

I'm having the same problem on my test machine, it's saying it can't connect to the server.

 

I can connect via the web and Emby Classic can connect without problem to the server on the same machine.

 

I'm not sure if it is relevant but my Emby users do not have passwords.

Check that the ip address for the server and what mbt is looking at are the same.

I believe I fixed my issue -- I went into servers.json and changed the LastConnectionMode from Remote to Local.  I expect that once it had somehow switched to using the Remote address to connect that it will then always reconnect that way instead of trying Local.
