algo1911 1 Posted July 3, 2015 Posted July 3, 2015 I know this topic has been discussed a lot but I have searched and tried a lot of things but nothing works. I installed MB and I get the following message (using chrome) This web page is not available ERR_CONNECTION_REFUSED I have tried: Ports on router, win firewall, virus scan settings, malware removal, host file is correct. Luke 42081 Posted July 3, 2015 Posted July 3, 2015 try rebooting the machine. it looks like the server was unable to gain access to the port. sometimes a reboot can help clear that up. if it persists it could be any number of things - another application using the same port, malware/virus, etc.
algo1911 1 Posted July 3, 2015 Author Posted July 3, 2015 Reboot did not fix the problem. malwarebytes, superanti, & Avast all clear. How can I change what port MB uses if I can't access the dashboard?

For those that may have this same problem this is how I fixed it. -Uninstalled MB with Revo Uninstaller. -deleted MB folders from users/(name)/appdata/roaming -ran ccleaner both applications & registry -reinstalled MB 1
