I apologize as I have limited internet access here and right now I can't get much information from the server (normally I remote in with TeamViewer).

At my cottage. Local network. Able to ping server computer. Cannot connect to Embry on any device. Local IP is 192.168.0.125. Port is 8096. Embry server is up to date (I remoted in before I left the city and made sure it was up to date).

I'm not sure where to start with this. It was working in the spring.

I don't know what to look at. Logic is telling me it's the server as I can ping and all devices can't connect. Where do I start?

maybe it's not running?

Definitely running. I'm able to connect when I am remoted in to the local machine via TeamViewer.

It's just not reaching the server. This doesn't make any sense. I can connect through the web browser when I'm remotes in to the local machine, but any attempt to connect over the network fails (rocky, win phone client, browser, win 8.1 client).

Would server logs help?

I don't understand why everything else is responding except Emby.

maybe that's not actually the right local ip? try localhost on the server machine. try 127.0.0.1 on the local machine.

It's the windows firewall. Blah. I feel stupider than normal.

What do I need to let through?

Got it. Thanks.

Got it. Thanks.

What did you end up needing to allow through windows firewall? I'm also having trouble connecting on local network. I've allowed nrecord and nextpvr in windows firewall, but it still doesn't work and I can't find emby listed in the firewall settings. Do I have to manually add it?
