Black Screen But Sound Works On Internal Player?

Hi,

 

I have a MXQ Android Box which has been working fine for about 6 months but suddenly I have a black screen on all media wether or not it is local/streamed/encoded although the sound works fine.  I have changed the setting to allow a external player and everything works fine.  I have cleared the cache and uninstalled and reinstalled the Android App but no change?

 

Any ideas?
