Media scan stuck

EMBY Version 3.0.5641.5 installed on ubuntu 14.04

 

My media scan keeps getting stuck at around 30% i have let it run for several days but it never seems finish. After letting it run for several days I tried deleting the /var/lib/emby-server/library.db and /var/lib/emby-server/refreshinfo.db but still stuck at 31.4%

 

All i can find in the log folder (/var/lib/emby-server/logs) are some text files containing the below content.  Not very usefull, EMBY seems a bit Windows centric.  Are there real linux style log files somewhere, something that i can tail and see where/why my media scan is hanging?

I have reported this same issue with my setup but was never resolved either. I am running mine as a docker on unraid. gets stuck at 30% but it does finally finish around an hour later. I don't have music. It scans through tv shows quickly but then as soon as it hits my movie section it comes to a halt.

I have upgraded to version emby 3.0.5675.1 for linux, hoping things would be resolved however i still cannot get the scan to complete ... please help

I had seen similar problems, I turned off some of the metadata fetching options and the chapter image extraction.  Once the scan finished I turned those back on and ran another library scan

I got the same problem, it stucks at 45% even after deselecting everything :-(  

when i have all selected it get stuck to 46% ?

 

Server is: Ubuntu server 14.04-3 x64 + "desktop 2d"

hardware, supermicro server, running raid 5 + 1 ssd for OS (2gigx5hdd + 1ssd 250gig) cpu: amd opteron 6386se, ram 32-gigg ecc, 5x1gig network card (4x1gig are for emby)
