SamES 1057 Posted June 27, 2015 Posted June 27, 2015 (edited) It appears that during the first library scan that occurs after a server restart that the PhotoAlbumImageProvider recreates collages for every folder in my photo library. This results in the scan taking several hours instead of several minutes. It is possible that this is only the case after the 'Scheduled Server Restart' task runs at 2:45am. as I don't really notice it after a manual restart or a manual scan. Maybe there is a conflict with tasks that are running when the restart occurs? I have confirmed that the collage images already exist prior to the scan, however they are recreated anyway. This seems to be unnecessary. I don't believe that scans that occur after this first scan have this issue as the library scan time is short. Attached is a log file showing the first scan after restart, which triggers a collage creation for for every folder in my picture library (> 2000) server-63571056304.txt I've also attached the log prior to the Schedule restart in case it includes any extra information. server-63571046399.txt Is this a bug in the Provider that is causing scans to occur when not required? Windows Server version is 3.0.5641.4, OS is Win7x64. Edited June 28, 2015 by SamES
