media-junkie 1 Posted June 26, 2015 Posted June 26, 2015 (edited) I recently purchased a new NAS to house my media library. Accordingly I had to go into the Emby settings and update the library locations. This went rather smoothly... although it took several hours to re-scan everything. Everything seems to be working fine except all of my collections have disappeared. I've restarted Emby and rebooted the server hosting Emby... this made no difference. To make matters worse I'm unable to recreate my collection. When I try to recreate a collection that previously existed I get an error stating that "a child with ID (id number) already exists. Its like it still thinks the collection are present but when looking at the collections screen there is nothing there. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Happy2Play 9782 Posted June 26, 2015 Posted June 26, 2015 Have you looked in %AppData%/MediaBrowser-Server/data/collections?
media-junkie 1 Posted June 27, 2015 Author Posted June 27, 2015 They are all listed there... so how do I fix? Do I just delete them and rebuild them or is there another method?
Happy2Play 9782 Posted June 27, 2015 Posted June 27, 2015 I would open the metadata (xml)and see if you can identify the issue. Did you manually create them or use the auto box set plugin? if the plugin then open the plugin and do a refresh boxsets. Last resort delete them. 1
media-junkie 1 Posted June 27, 2015 Author Posted June 27, 2015 They were manually created... I'll have a look at the XML data.
media-junkie 1 Posted June 27, 2015 Author Posted June 27, 2015 Okay, looking at the metadata I can see that for each video created in each collection it still referenced the old path. I updated the path on one collection to reflect the new path to the videos but its still not displaying in any GUI. Any other file(s) I need to update?
Tolerant 74 Posted June 27, 2015 Posted June 27, 2015 I would exit the server, delete the folders in the collections and let the plugin redo them. Just my opinion.
media-junkie 1 Posted June 27, 2015 Author Posted June 27, 2015 Thats the route I took... closed server, deleted collections folder files and installed and let the app rebuild the sets for me. Seems to be doing a pretty good job.
