Spaceboy 2573 Posted June 24, 2015 Posted June 24, 2015 recently Android tv (both nexus player and fire tv) has used local subtitles despite that option not being selected and it is not possible to turn them off. this was not always the case
Spaceboy 2573 Posted June 24, 2015 Author Posted June 24, 2015 ok, some more info. its not just limited to the android tv app. my understanding of the server setting default for subtitles is that it will only use subtitles if the audio language is not english in my case. well on Version 3.0.5641.4 it doesnt seem to do that any more. if i switch to forced only its fine, subtitles do not appear but if i go back to default then they are used
