Cannot uninstall, cannot cleanup and install

Recommended Posts

Currently the status is:

I cannot uninstall Emby, I get KERNELBASE error in the Eventlog, and if I clean the folders in %APPDATA%, and clean the entry for the uninstaller in the registry, I can install it new (Beta-Version), however I cannot get past the initial setup screen (setting the language). It just hangs there...

At first I had the stable version installed, this one had "Media Browser Server" installed. I manually removed it, since I had the same KERNELBASE error.

Any help or information that I can provide, would be glad to, please help me resolve this and get my Emby running again.

Now I was able to reinstall it indeed. However:

Still not getting past the wizard language screen.

And, I attempted to uninstall the app again, I still get the KERNELBASE error, and I did clean the Firefox cache, even after closing the EMBY pages and server.

I just wanted to update: it did not work with the Firefox, also after clearing the cache. It did however with IE.

I still would like to point out that an uninstallation of Emby is still impossible. Even after cleanup and clean setup of Emby. Uninstaller still crashes.
