3.0.5641.4 Started many issues.. Porage Please

After this upgrade emby theater will not play correctly on clients, apps no longer see clients for remote play (or sees old clienst that have been off air for a few hrs very sprodaic, Theater will only show a few minutes of a movie on seek bar yet play the entire movie but no fast forward.

Lost dts, hd audio on clients. plays only pcm.

(only on movies comng from server)

See old remenents of old settings in clients

Just plain odd things that have me scratching my head.

even Media Player Clasic can't play hd audio through server, and stops at start up. ? clients not touched only server upgraded.

 

Any sugestions Luke ? or others.

I have robooted the entire network and all devices.

will do, it will take some time but will pick the biggest isssue for me and report back. thanks.. I have guests so I don't want to wreck what movies they can watch right now. Got the theater limping along. apreciate the help.

Luke My theater is on version EMBY Theater 3.0.5362.41853 and i reinstalled the server on a new machine to sort out some issues. its on ver 3.0.5641.4 my problem I chose to work on first is My Theater PC can no longer be seen by any clients. The server can see it and it can now play from the server correctly but the server or clients can't see it as a device to play to. (I use this feature to help those who are remote control deficit)

This is the biggest issue that I picked to work on first.

So to date I reinstalled the stable release of server and it updated to this version 3.0.5641.4 by itself.

The Theater is on EMBY Theater 3.0.5362.41853

EMBY Classic can be seen and played to... but at the same time as this issue started, classic started to not pass on commands to Media Player so going back to Classic is off the shelf for now and is not the longer term solution.

 

I am sorry but I cant take the theater pc off line at this time or I would just do an entire reinstall.

Any suggestions I thought of letting EMBY theater update to Beta but thought I would wait to get your opinion

This is one of the issues that started after a automatic update to this.. I believe to be the current version.

Theater 3.0.5651 has been posted so i would start by updating to that and then we'll see if the problem persists

Luke I update it everything works the latest version shows.. then I reboot and it is back at the old version and broken.. ? process repeated 3 times so it is still at 3.0.5362.41853 after reboot but when checking after install its at version 3.0.5651 oh man..

I got the time today to re-install. Something just went haywire I guess. Put the server on a older machine and did a entire wipe of the Theater system after fussing with it for a few a few Hours and not getting any were. All seems to be back to normal, and am going to try to keep all the machines on the same build.

I think the theater was a victim of media Emby for media center... I ignored it.. with some lousy plugins installed for to long, Running it along  with EMBY Theater that was waiting to go prime time..

The networks is large for a home 9 pc and 10 or so devices, and a constant 5-10 guests..

SO she blew her cork so to say..

All the pieces picked up 3 new installs waiting for win10 with backup images.

All seems to work fine.

Keep pushing the updates .... tell EMBY Theater hits her prime time.. Thanks Guys for all the hard work I would not want your job...I am not a very good fireman..
