Luke 42077 Posted June 21, 2015 Posted June 21, 2015 have you used the instructions on the website? i am guessing 5607 is still on the mediabrowser repo which won't be updated anymore. the repos on the website will be more up to date
lamero 1 Posted June 22, 2015 Author Posted June 22, 2015 Yes I used the instructions on the website. In /etc/yum.repos.d I have MediaBrowserServer.repo. It contains: [MediaBrowserServer] name=Media Browser Server is a home media server built on top of other popular open source technologies such as Service Stack, jQuery, jQuery mobile, and Mono. type=rpm-md baseurl=http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/home:/jose-pr:/MediaBrowserServer/Fedora_20/ gpgcheck=1 gpgkey=http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/home:/jose-pr:/MediaBrowserServer/Fedora_20/repodata/repomd.xml.key enabled=1 [MediaBrowserServer-Beta] name=home:jose-pr:MediaBrowserServer-Beta type=rpm-md baseurl=http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/home:/jose-pr:/MediaBrowserServer-Beta/Fedora_20/ gpgcheck=1 gpgkey=http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/home:/jose-pr:/MediaBrowserServer-Beta/Fedora_20/repodata/repomd.xml.key enabled=0 [MediaBrowserServer-Dev] name=MediaBrowserServer-Dev type=rpm-md baseurl=http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/home:/jose-pr:/MediaBrowserServer-Dev/Fedora_20/ gpgcheck=1 gpgkey=http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/home:/jose-pr:/MediaBrowserServer-Dev/Fedora_20/repodata/repomd.xml.key enabled=0 [MediaBrowserServer-Dependancies] name=MediaBrowserServer-Dependancies (Fedora_$releasever) type=rpm-md baseurl=http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/home:/jose-pr:/MediaBrowserServer-Dependancies/Fedora_$releasever/ gpgcheck=1 gpgkey=http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/home:/jose-pr:/MediaBrowserServer-Dependancies/Fedora_$releasever/repodata/repomd.xml.key enabled=1 But no updates ara available
woodsb02 17 Posted June 22, 2015 Posted June 22, 2015 Yes, I think this forum topic should have been posted in the fedora section rather than the FreeBSD section.
Abobader 3464 Posted June 22, 2015 Posted June 22, 2015 Done. Yes, I think this forum topic should have been posted in the fedora section rather than the FreeBSD section. 1
tadeucruz 0 Posted June 23, 2015 Posted June 23, 2015 lamero, Try the docker version, work very fine here.
lamero 1 Posted June 24, 2015 Author Posted June 24, 2015 I'm sorry for bad section, but problem with Fedora repository is still active. Please can you update it?
manf0001 4 Posted June 30, 2015 Posted June 30, 2015 Hi There, I found another thread on the forum, that allowed me to update emby onto my CentOS 7 machine. (http://emby.media/community/index.php?/topic/13398-fedoracentos-rpm/?p=221256) I followed the steps posted by Steini which the link should take you too. This worked for me. Apparently you can't copy the data file from the old MediaBrowserServer to the new Emby one and expect it to work. but it does work if you tell emby where to look.. which the post shows. I just did it and it seems ok. Thanks
