Macburp 112 Posted June 21, 2015 Posted June 21, 2015 OK, so after a hefty struggle I managed to get Kodi onto my nexus player. This was followed by another hefty struggle to get the Kodi for Emby zip on there. But eventually I managed to load up - isengard beta 2 version of Kodi (from the play store, very refreshing to see Kodi is now there) - Kodi for Emby stable zip Managed to log in to my user without a problem, but the library would not load - I got a dialogue box saying 'loading 1 of 162 movies' followed by 'error - post a kodi log' So aftera hefty struggle to find the log, this is what I'm doing - https://www.dropbox.com/s/q6eeq0by0q7283b/kodi.log?dl=0 Any clues? Thanks.
CBers 7450 Posted June 21, 2015 Posted June 21, 2015 (edited) I don't believe Isengard is supported to work with the Kodi addon just yet. If it works, good, but if it doesn't........... I'm sure the Kodi addon devs will chime in son enough. To access stuff on the NP, install es file explorer, it make life a lot easier. Also, you'll could enable the adb tcpip option, so that you can adb connect to it over your lan. That way you can add files, zips etc much easier, and also grab files from it. Macburp 112 Posted June 21, 2015 Author Posted June 21, 2015 Hey @@CBers, how are you doing? I've struggled with ES File Explorer but I believe I've finally figured it out. Could be famous last words. I read somewhere on the Kodi forum that only the x86 apk of Kodi works on the np. Could be outdated info, but ho hum. Which version of kodi have you got working, I might give that a try.
CBers 7450 Posted June 21, 2015 Posted June 21, 2015 (edited) I'm fine thanks, you? The x86 is the correct version for the NP as it runs on an Intel processor. I have Kodi 14.2 running on my NP and on my FTV (arm processor). Edited June 21, 2015 by CBers
ProphetSe7en 15 Posted June 21, 2015 Posted June 21, 2015 (edited) Just install Kodi from Google play from youre computer, it is much easier. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=org.xbmc.kodi I had the same problem on my NP. Changed to Emby 1.0.10 solved the problem for me Edited June 21, 2015 by svortevik
ProphetSe7en 15 Posted June 21, 2015 Posted June 21, 2015 Yes, but it works perfectly on NP. I installed it yesterday on my new NP and Emby 1.0.10 On Emby 1.0.0 it connected, but gave me instant error when trying to sync. This were the case on all of my Andorid installations. With Emby 1.0.10 it just works
Angelblue05 4132 Posted June 21, 2015 Posted June 21, 2015 Yeah Emby [codename:Liv] 1.0.0 is not compatible with Isengard Beta. Only works with Helix 14.2. We added the support for Isengard Beta after we released the stable version - But then again, it's not guaranteed it will work correctly. 1
