QNAP nas - is this OK

im thinking of getting a NAS setup to store all the fims and TV episodes, so i can access them where ever i am.

This is a good NAS system for EMBY,? Is anyone using this and will EMBY work with this system

 

a real newbie here

 

help will be needed from everyone to get me set up

I will get in few days either one of these:

I still did not find the different from the above models :)

 

Back to the topic, the Emby dev's team work on this, as I get confirmation from Luke that the Emby server run ok with it.

Hi,

 

Difference in the QNAP sans you are looking at is the top one is "10Gig ready" the bottom is dual 10gig on board for the network uplink. I think at this point in time a 10Gig home router may not available or cost effective.

 

Hope this helps with your choice if you have not made it yet.
