Hi guys,

I'm posting this here because I was told to by Luke.

I can usually fix any issues like this myself but I'm stuck on this one.

I'm using the iPad app called Media Browser Client

The server version I'm on is 3.0.5641.4

 Here's what happened;

  1. I was watching a TV show that I realised I needed subtitles for on my iPad using the app
  2. I went back to my Emby Server and replaced the files of my show with new files that had the subtitles hardcoded
  3. I let Emby Server run the find media task and it completed fine.
  4. I opened the TV show back up on my iPad and the file wont play; it just gets stuck on 'Loading...'

Here's what I've done to try to fix it;

  • I opened the show on my laptop and phone and it plays perfectly on both
  • I've deleted the show's folder completely, ran the find media task, added the folder and ran the find media task again
  • I've restarted the server multiple times
  • I've deleted the app and downloaded/installed it again
  • I've deleted the show within media browser itself and reran the scan to no avail

Here's the log;

server-63570402563.txt

My conclusion is that the iPad app cant play the file because it's looking for the original file that I played.

I've noticed that the watched indicator is still on the files which means that the ID assigned to the previous files has been carried across to these files too and that may be the issue for the iPad.

Do ye guys have any ideas of what it might be or how I could fix this?

I can post logs or anything you need; just let me know.

Thanks guys.

I did; that works perfectly. It also work on another iPad too. It's literally just a single iPad it's not working on. Anyway of removing the device from the server or something? I've deleted the app and reinstalled it on the iPad and still the same issue.
