Maleficarum 68 Posted June 20, 2015 Posted June 20, 2015 Decided to give kodi a go on a new box. Installed the beta add on as usual and setup. For some reason the sync seems to start, or at least displays the syncing movies 1 of 39 message, but then says emby error. Think the right log is uploaded, let me know if you need anything else kodi.log
xnappo 1611 Posted June 20, 2015 Posted June 20, 2015 Please try with a release version of Kodi. We only officially support release versions. The Kodi team is making database changes that are not stable right now. We will of course support Isengard when it gets to the release stage. xnappo 2
Angelblue05 4132 Posted June 20, 2015 Posted June 20, 2015 (edited) Yeah it looks like your Kodi was updating database 14:16:56 T:2072 NOTICE: Old database found - updating from version 92 to 93 14:16:56 T:2072 NOTICE: Attempting to update the database MyVideos93 from version 92 to 93 If you restart Kodi, and it loads with MyVideos93 (it mentions in the beginning of the log) then it should be fine (but not guaranteed) or else you'll have to go back to 14.2, like xnappo said. Maleficarum 68 Posted June 20, 2015 Author Posted June 20, 2015 only just went up to beta 2, have been using beta 1 for a while without issue until today when this error happened out of nowhere and as such, tried beta 2 just to see if it made a difference (it didn't)
xnappo 1611 Posted June 20, 2015 Posted June 20, 2015 Yep - we are updating as the Kodi team updates, but it is a moving target. As AngelBlue said - it may work if you try again with Beta2. If not, go back to 14.2. xnappo
Maleficarum 68 Posted June 20, 2015 Author Posted June 20, 2015 just tried again and it seems the error only happens if you are not using the master user account. when logged in as master user, the sync completed as normal and content was available. When logged in as a different user the error occurred as before. May just go to 14.2 for now, dunno if there's any great difference but if it works consistently it'll do.
