Deathsquirrel 745 Posted June 18, 2015 Posted June 18, 2015 I was playing around with the new report export functions, which are fantastic btw, and noticed that the movie reports respects the group movies into collections options. I'm not sure if that's a bug but if possible it should disregard that option since it makes the report a lot less useful.
Happy2Play 9782 Posted June 18, 2015 Posted June 18, 2015 I would think it is a bug since there is a Movies report and a Collections Report.
moviemadnessman 13 Posted June 18, 2015 Posted June 18, 2015 I was playing around with the new report export functions, which are fantastic btw, and noticed that the movie reports respects the group movies into collections options. I'm not sure if that's a bug but if possible it should disregard that option since it makes the report a lot less useful. I noticed this as well, but it would appear that whatever the setting are for the administrator account, that's the settings the reports use as well. There are 2 possible solutions at this time that I have found: 1. Go into your admin (your) account and uncheck the "group movies into collections" option before running the report. This is a minor inconvenience only if you forget to check it back, but nothing game breaking. 2. (this is how I set mine) Create a new user (I call it Reports) and give it administrative access but uncheck the group movies option. Now I can log in as the reports user, view my reports and whatever, and logging out and back in is a 2 click process. Unless they decide to change it so that it either shows the movies in a collection when you group view, or give the option to just show the base movies, then these are the current options. 1
andcbii 12 Posted June 19, 2015 Posted June 19, 2015 I noticed this as well. I'm hoping it's a bug they will fix and not intentional.
