Is there an option to stay logged in to the server without getting prompted to log back in every few minutes?

Hopefully there's a quick answer to a quick question - is there any option hidden away somewhere that let's the server admin stay logged in to the EMBY server without continually having to log back in?

 

If I right click on the EMBY icon in the taskbar and select 'Configure Emby' I'm always asked to login first, even if I was just on the web dashboard a few minutes ago.

 

I'm the admin and sole Emby user and it's really frustrating having to sign back in if I want to configure Emby via the web dashboard.

 

Please tell me there's a way!!

You could try the easy pin and leave it blank, in my preferences to auto login on local network.

The only time I log in to the web client is when a new upgrade requires it for whatever reason. Maybe 3 or 4 times in the last 6 months. I don't use the Pin Code functionality because I believe in strong passwords. This is also with a local server and not through Emby Connect. I don't know how Emby Connect works.

surely there must be a way to stay logged in though, amending a config file somewhere to prevent you from auto logging out after a certain duration?

You used to be able to get into the server with no password, if you were accessing Emby from the same PC it was installed on.     But they closed that security hole.

Actually i would just make sure your browsiing data is not getting cleared between sessions
