thisguy2626 3 Posted June 17, 2015 Posted June 17, 2015 I'm having issues with the subtitles while playing on an LG Google TV. I attempted to turn them off. It didn't work, and now every time I get to the same point in the video where I turned them off the video freezes and doesn't recover. The exact spot each time. The sound plays on. It's only on the android tv app. The same video file plays fine on the windows theater and iOS app. And as long as I do not attempt to turn off the subtitles, other files play fine on the android TV app too. I haven't tried deleting the app data yet.
CBers 7450 Posted June 17, 2015 Posted June 17, 2015 I'd uninstall the app and reinstall it, or at the very least, clear the app data. It is the Android TV app and not the Android app ??
thisguy2626 3 Posted June 17, 2015 Author Posted June 17, 2015 Yes it's the TV app unlocked. I didn't want to clear the data or uninstall until I posted here in case someone wanted to trouble shoot something. I'm fairly certain that will clear up the issue.

Spaceboy 2573 Posted June 23, 2015 Posted June 23, 2015 Also seeing similar recently, the nexus player always plays subtitles and won't let me turn the off. It's even more annoying that they're the wrong subtitles! [emoji3]
