mjbxx 0 Posted June 16, 2015 Posted June 16, 2015 Ran into trouble uninstalling Emby. It appears to have uninstalled from the system but not from the Control Panel as seen below. Now I am not able to install Emby as I receive the message below. Any idea on how I can successfully install Emby?
geaves 13 Posted June 17, 2015 Posted June 17, 2015 The only thing I could suggest is this http://www.majorgeeks.com/files/details/windows_installer_cleanup_utility.html this simple utility has been removed by microsoft but it is still available, this would at least remove Media Browser Server from Control Panel. However, if the installation fails again you may have to remove files and folders manually, I have used that utility more than once particularly if something fails to uninstall correctly or fully, you then have then have to manually remove any 'leftovers'.

Have you restarted the machine and tried to reinstall? Or manually delete the system folder.
