I've recently updated all my MPAA ratings in my films metadata.  I've tried doing a refresh of all films metadata but the old ratings are still showing.  Is there another way to get the new ratings showing, or maybe delete the database and rebuild?

how have you gone about updating them? hopefully with the editing interface.

I've refreshed via this screen.

Ah, sorry.  Metabrowser

Yes, just running another refresh now just to make sure.

unless you lock the parental ratings from the edit pages, doing a refresh from there is going to get new metadata from the internet and replace what you have.

Great, that'll be it.  Thanks Luke!

Well I give up lol.  I've tried turning off metadata globally, and changed the ratings to not have the GB prefix.  I've updated the localization file, still no joy.  It either doesn't change or it reverts the the "GB-*" rating.  Looks like I'm stuck with having the GB prefix.

The country prefix is necessary for us to be able to find the right rating.  Some countries overlap with the same ones (like 'PG').

I thought that may be the case.  Thanks EBR.
