djlf 40 Posted June 14, 2015 Posted June 14, 2015 Ok tried clearing online cache - still can't install theater - does this mean I have to recreate user profile?? A previous install of theater didn't uninstall correctly I think?? Any ideas guys ??? Had everything working perfectly 2 days ago , now I'm seriously fed up.
yardameus 221 Posted June 15, 2015 Posted June 15, 2015 double check to make sure there isn't an emby theater installation. If so, uninstall that one, and then try for a fresh install.
djlf 40 Posted June 15, 2015 Author Posted June 15, 2015 Windows saying previous install is uninstalled but I'm not sure it did so correctly. What do i need to look for to delete. All this started with beta update giving false positive on antivirus. Any help much appreciated.
djlf 40 Posted June 16, 2015 Author Posted June 16, 2015 Does anyone know, before I take drastic action, if there is any other way of solving the problem of installing theater other than clearing the online cache and recreating the user profile? still getting application cannot be started - contact vendor. What are the requirements it looks for before installing? Any Ideas would be greatly appreciated
djonnie 14 Posted June 16, 2015 Posted June 16, 2015 Did you try deleting the folder (including all the files and subdirectories) %appdata%\MediaBrowser-Theater? Helped me once.
