lorac 118 Posted November 20, 2013 Posted November 20, 2013 I don't understand why the server is complaining about this. Clearly the path is nowhere near that limit, and it only complains about Season 14. 2013-11-19 04:00:55.7810, Error, App, Error resolving path \\SOLDIER\tV\South Park (1997) [Animation]\Season 14 The specified path, file name, or both are too long. Solution Luke 42077 Posted November 20, 2013 Solution Posted November 20, 2013 The error message needs to be improved. It's not complaining about that particular path, but something down underneath it. http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa365247%28VS.85%29.aspx#maxpath 1
lorac 118 Posted November 20, 2013 Author Posted November 20, 2013 Ahh. EP6 had some crazy long filename for some reason. I fixed that so I believe it should stop complaining now
Olywa123 46 Posted November 21, 2015 Posted November 21, 2015 (edited) @@gamick_lisafisher - Really? 3 posts in response to older (2013/2014) issues and recommending long path tool, guessing you are affiliated in some way! --Edit-- spammer posts by user 'gamick_lisafisher' have since been removed. I would advise caution if considering using an application called "Long Path Tool" which the spammer was pushing. Edited November 21, 2015 by Olywa123
