MrWebsmith 598 Posted June 11, 2015 Posted June 11, 2015 hey guys.. so i have a TON of tv content...and in Kodi some shows are empty.. and some arent i cant find a pattern to the reasons why.. doesnt seem to be different metadata.. doesnt seem to relate to the video codec/formats of the files either in all other emby clients (web/android/atv/ios/mbc/etcetcetc) thisissue doesnt occur.. just kodi... for the shows that are "empty" i get the poster/description etc at the series level.. then nothing but the two dots (..) at the "season level" for the shows that are fine i get the various seasons + the "all seasons" entry.. or the episodes themselves if its a single season show. what logs would be helpful to you devs? screen shots of the media folders themselves? not sure what to try next.. ive tried multiple platforms for kodi/emby addon.... multiple skins within kodi... and just today i reset the addon db thinking maybe it would "knock something loose" im happy to provide as much detail as is needed. -matt (mws)
MrWebsmith 598 Posted June 11, 2015 Author Posted June 11, 2015 some detail kodi is 14.2 right now im sitting in front of it on a nexus player box, but i also have it loaded on my main htpc (win7x64) emby addon is 1.06 emby server is dev branch
MrWebsmith 598 Posted June 11, 2015 Author Posted June 11, 2015 (edited) hmm... so seasons would also need that tag filed in i assume as well then? ill have to check... and if its missing in all of these shows ill have one hell of a process all to do in metabrowser (yes i still use that vs the built in emby data) UGH.. yes i think its gonna be the season number values.. ill have to fix a few shows up manually and retest to see about the others (640 shows over 32000 epsisdoes!)
