Dynamic View for Folders

Hey everyone! Hope we are all well

 

I don't know if I'm forgetting about a basic setting, but here is my questions.

 

I just added a new folder to my library, and I let it run over night and scan and such.

 

Now, the problem is, on the front page where you see the Folders up top (Movies, TV Shows, Cartoons, etc) The new folder I made doesn't have that "pretty" dynamic view. Instead of seeing some of the posters for the movies in it, it's just the image of a folder.

 

Is there a setting somewhere I forgot about?

Did you set it to have one in your user preferences in the Dashboard?

I did check that already and for sure it is checked off.

If you have this as a plain media folder that is un-grouped I don't think we generate a dynamic image for it.

I checked my settings, and it isn't grouped with movies, but then again I have other folders just like it not grouped, and they generated the dynamic images.

Is the content type "Mixed/unset"?

I left it alone and forgot about it for the day, and next thing I know next day it has the dynamic images. I guess it's just something that takes time? Either way I'm happy

Okay, yes it is run as a task but I found that mixed/unset folders will not get one created as well.

This folder was not set as mixed/unset. It was set as a movie folder.

 

What task is it that makes the dynamic images? Was it something I could have run manually?
