superbillen 0 Posted June 10, 2015 Posted June 10, 2015 I have just installed EMBY and add-on for kodi/xbmc. I am not able to connect to my server, if i use the web browser and types in the server ip and port it works. Do we have any guide for installation for connecting to emby server that are not local installed Mayby its just med that are doing it wrong. Thanks for your time and help
Angelblue05 4132 Posted June 10, 2015 Posted June 10, 2015 Ok so your server is remote? Just make sure you use the external address to reach it, with the correct port. In the playback tab, just enable play from http instead of smb. That's all you need to do to get it to work. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
