Backup Emby for new OS installation.

Dear,

   I need help, I will format my pc and wanted to back up my Emby, used the plug-in trial period, however is over the test period and also do not know how to retrieve backed up by him!

   My question would be, how do I backup to not lose NOTHING? Which folders should I copy.

 

 

I will remove my windows 8 to install 8.1 and migrate in the future for WIndows 10.

Even if it says migrate, it's the same concept as reinstalling on the same machine.

Or you can use the Server Configuration Backup Plugin.

Install the plugin and tell it where your backups are.  Then you click on one of the current backups to bring up restore screen.

I believe you have to manually move the collections folder.

 

%appdata%/MediaBrowser-Server/data/collections

 

New installs might by named Emby instead of MediaBrowser.

I installed the plugin, however to not have the same folder structure was not very good .. I deleted folders and I will add again, however still not migrated collections.

 

 I already copei the Collections folder where indicated and not worked.
