chef 3810 Posted June 5, 2015 Author Posted June 5, 2015 I have tried from my desktop (web client) and also from the web client on my iPhone. The chromecast doesn't show up under my network devices in Windows. Should it?

chef 3810 Posted June 5, 2015 Author Posted June 5, 2015 No I haven't done that yet. I thought maybe emby would just show it as a device to send play commands to. I wish there where an override in emby where I could input devices on my network (their IP address). Do you think that the chrome extension will help me?

Latchmor 584 Posted June 6, 2015 Posted June 6, 2015 (edited) I guess it's because you were jumping straight into Emby. I had mine ages before Emby could use it so I used Netflix, YouTube etc then tried casting chrome tabs which needs the extension. Anyway, Luke adding some extra instructions so that's cool.
