All Scans And Downloads Failing Version 3.0.5621.4

Since the upgrade to 3.0.5621.4 it seems that all scans and theme or subtitle downloads are failing.  The library currently shows as empty .  Everything was working beautifully before the update.

 

Thanks in advance for the help and I will post anything else you need.

Update the Gamebrowser plug-in, make sure it is configured properly and/or un-install it.

Wow, and that's like some really, really, old version.  If it doesn't show up in the server plug-ins section, find the dll and delete it manually.

Hmm Yeah ok.  Cause I've never used it before and it doesn't show as installed in the configuration screen.  Where are the plugin DLL's located?

It's very common for new users to go and install every plugin in sight just for the fun of it :). So maybe that's what you did.

 

Somewhere along the way that old version became incompatible and now it's causing a problem.

Ok I deleted the old Game Browser DLL's  but all scans are still failing even after a server restart...

Your database has been corrupted, possibly related to gamebrowser but we can't be sure. shut down the server, go into %appdata%/MediaBrowser-Server/data, and delete the library.db file

 

For the next release of the server I will improve it to handle this situation better and recover, but in the meantime that's what you should do.
