Process Lasso and FFMEPG

Hey there everyone!

 

So I am happy with emby on so many levels. It has re inspired my love and interest in running a home media server and streaming media.

 

But, as I know some users are dealing with, I do have the issues at times where FFMPEG goes crazy wit CPU resources and starts to slow down. I know its something Luke is working on and trying to find a way to really optimize the Transcode process, but that doesn't stop us nerds from tinkering

 

Has anyone here tried using Process Lasso on their server setup? It's something I stumbled across and am very curious if it is something we can use to optimize FFMPEG.

 

Any thoughts guys?
