Hi,

I have a problem with a collection of .mkv files, they are calibration video files like brightness.mkv, contrast.mkv, clipping.mkv etc... that I have all in 1 folder, however when I run media browser classic through WMC the video files are all showing up individually rather than under 1 folder name.

Current folder structure is - HD movies\Calibration Files\

Can someone help me correct the folder structure so when I select HD movies I have a folder representing my calibration files, that when I select it it then shows all the files individually and not all in the HD movies selection?

I have the same problem with breaking bad series, all the episodes are showing individually under HD movies,

Folder structure for this is - HD movies\breaking Bad\series 1\

But all series .mkv's are showing individually under hd movies in MBC

Thanks,

And this is different than in the web client?

Yes, no matter what folder structure I use it shows all the videos in the highest folder - HD movies, rather than me selecting HD movies and another folder inside saying calibration files for example!

I've sort of found a fix, I've enabled legacy folders in the client setup and all is showing correctly now :/

Edit: how do you manipulate client folder views on the server?

Okay, so it isn't different than the web client.  If you don't want those items grouped in with your movies then you need to un-check that media folder in the grouping options.  This can be done either with the web client preferences or inside EMC under View Configuration.
