So for future reference this is the format that should be used for path subs in Emby, to get direct play:

nfs://{ipaddress}/pathtocontent

And for the coup d'etat...

 

I set the bitrate to 12.2mbit and then set the plugin back to Direct Play.

Not at all, I've learnt a great deal. Not many people use nfs so it was not tested very much. I might have to set it up for myself using path subs. It's quite easy!

We can't verify nfs paths, but we still allow to try direct play.

 

 

Not being able to verify NFS paths cannot cause other issues, right?
