+1. It irritates me that Plex gets all this love and Emby doesn't get too much of a look-in. Perhaps because Plex have the bucks to actively promote their platform?

Yeah, I've sent multiple emails to Lifehacker asking that they at least mention Emby as an alternative. Normally they're pretty good about stuff like this, but they seem to turn a blind eye in this case. It's almost starting to feel like Plex is a sponsor or something. It's strange.

I may have to see if I can find some time in the next few weeks to write an article similar to this for Emby. Then I'll try sending it off to sites like Lifehacker to see who, if anyone, picks it up.
