I set up emby but it cant find a server where do I go from here. thanks glenn

have you installed emby server on your pc?

You need to set up your media in the proper file structure first...  http://emby.media/community/index.php?/topic/674-media-files-folders-structure/

 

Then you need to install the server software...  http://emby.media/download/

 

It is a very straight forward install and will walk you thru all the required settings.

 

Then you can use the Roku EMBY client that you downloaded from the roku store.

 

Some work on your side to get the folder structures and names right, but after that you will be VERY happy with results.
