Not being marked as played

Hi,

I've noticed something in the past couple of days, When I play a TV episode, I watch it and it finishes playing. It takes me back to the episode list and the watched icon shows over the file but the file doesn't disappear (I have kodi set to only show unwatched items).

 

If I go back the the upper level folder (list of all TV shows) then go back in to the TV show episode list, the episode is still there and the watched icon is not showing.

 

If I then play that file again and stop the playback immediately, the file is then marked as played and disappears from my list.

Thanks for reporting, the fix is currently in github. It will be in the repo a bit later today. I've added a "fail safe" to update the watch status instantly since i had to tweak kodi behaviors.

I'll have a look when I get home, but I was watching TV late last night and it was working as expected.

Ok, I forgot to check the specific version, but I watched a number of episodes and they were all appropriately marked as watched, as expected. There is still a VERY slight delay in marking the episode as watched after I complete watching an episode. That could be due to my network though, so i'm very satisfied.
