Completed Show Marked as Watched, then Un-watched

Hi All - Thanks for a great addon. I have encountered a strange problem with the emby addon. Whenever I watch a show, after it completes, I am sent back to the episode listing, and the show I just watched is marked as watched (as is expected).

 

However, when I back out to the season level, and then go back to the episode level, the episode that I just watched is now marked as unwatched. 

 

When I look at my emby server, the show is marked as watched, but it remains unwatched in Kodi until I restart. Once I restart, the episode is then marked as watched, after about 10 seconds.

 

Here is a log of me watching an episode, then exiting back to the episode view, where the episode is marked as watched. I then back out to the season view, then head back into the episode view, and the episode is no longer marked as watched.

Can you try the latest version v0.1.9 to see if it solves your issue. I was seeing this as well so I pushed a few fixes in attempt to solve this since. Thanks

Was this pushed to the repository? I didn't see an update, so I'll try a refresh. Will try as soon as I'm back home. Thanks for the quick reply.

Yes, just do a "Check for updates" hopefully that will pick it up...let me know if it works then.

 

Edit: another user reported that uninstalling the addon and reinstalling it from repo again displayed version 0.1.9 (you won't lose any settings)

Excellent, I just updated and I can confirm that now it works as it should. Also, the Netflix watch next thing works as it should now as well.

 

There is a very tiny delay in having the episode marked as watched after I press stop, but that's it.

That's great to hear! As for the small delay, I'll look into it at a later time. Thanks for letting us know.
