how can I delete a genre of media and create another??

I want to create types of gender to better personalize my films server

Go to the Metadata Manager select a video, scroll down to genre enter the genre you want to add, hit the (+) then hit save.  This will create your genre in genre view.

 

To remove a already listed genre you will need to go to each movie listed in that genre and delete that genre from genre field and hit save.

Or check out the genre cleaner plug-in to automatically map genres as they are ingested.
