According to the change log this was added in1.86 but I don't see it in the settings.

It is under 'Advanced'.

Apparently it did not auto update past 1.85 even after checking for an update. I had to manually update it now I see the setting. Thank you.

Was was this setting removed? Will the addon be released in the Kodi repo replacing the old addon?

I've removed it because it will not show when starting (I've changed the logic to only show if the server is offline first). Instead there's a welcome "username" message with no sound displayed. :)

Please add the option back for the user message. It prevents navigation for quite a bit of time on my machine/skin.

I won't be re-adding the option. Instead I've removed any notifications. The only time you'll get one at startup is in the event the server is offline. :)

Okay.  If others like it, I don't mind as long as it can be turned off...  Thanks though.
