Auto organise advice - how does it work and how to set up

Hi,

 

I am currently trying to streamline the way I am using my server for watching back my videos.

 

At the moment, I am running Argus TV and Emby on my server and view them back via Kodi.

 

I tend to use the Argus Plugin for watching back regular recordings and the Emby Plugin for watching back ripped DVDs.

 

I am trying to do everything through Emby only - ideally, I want Emby to deal with everything as they are recorded by Argus TV.  I will then only have to click on TV shows on Kodi and it shall be all there to watch.

 

What is the best way to do this?  At the moment, I have Argus recording to two separate folders, one for TV and one for Movies.

 

Am I correct in thinking that I can set auto organise to watch these two folders and set it to take each recording as it is created, rename it appropriately, and place it in a new TV or Movie folder for scraping and adding to the Emby database?

 

Ultimately, I would be really grateful for some advice on how this feature works and how best to set it up.

At the moment it only supports TV shows so you would set it to watch the TV folder
